Commercialization of filtration cart FC-001

HEMOPHARM affirms and shows its proximity and its reactivity with its customers. In March 2011, a Hemopharm customer orders a product that did not exist on the market.  Hemopharm mobilizes its R&D engineers together with their customer to define specifications of the product.  Six months later, the leukoreduction cart is being sold worldwide. The prototype of the FC-001 cart was presented at the last ISBT International Congress in Lisbon in June 2011 and provoked a real interest.

The filtration cart FC-001 is a cart that works by gravity filtration. It works autonomously and runs on compressed air. It can be recharged by a compressor or an air compressed network.  It works very easily thanks to an ultra simplified interface user. It is possible to charge up to 60 blood bags. The filtration cart FC-001 aims at increasing productivity in processing centers, improving labor comfort and reducing the risks associated to MSD (Muscle Skeletal Disorders). It can be optionally equipped with a tube sealer.
